NYEC offers lessons for any person who wishes to learn or improve their horse back riding skills in a variety of disciplines. The lessons are taught by professionally trained, experienced and certified instructors, lessons are available to any person five years of age or older.
NYEC offers private, as well as group lessons for riders of any level. Semi-private and group lessons are available for families and groups with similar riding abilities. Lessons are a perfect way to learn horseback riding at your own pace (It’s never too late to start!). We have a variety of professionally trained instructors to accommodate all levels, discipline’s and schedules.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for those who are looking to have a one-on-one lesson. Taking a private lesson gives you the attention needed to progress at your own pace. Private lessons are available multiple days a week, scheduled at your convenience. Lessons can also be taught on the trails. Trail lessons let you enjoy the best of both worlds.
Half Hour Private Lesson: $82.50
One Hour Private Lesson: $125.00
Semi-Private & Group Lessons
Semi and Group lessons are also offered for groups of 2 or more. Ride with your friends or family and learn from each other as you are trained in a group. You must be at a similar level before you are placed to ride in a semi or group lesson. Instructor approval is required.
One Hour Group Lesson: $85.00
One Hour Semi-Private Lesson: $100.00
Pony Rides
Starting at the age of 2 years old; bring your child to NYEC where they can enjoy a ride on one of our ponies. This is an unforgettable experience for both children and parents. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
10 Minute Pony Ride: $25.00
Lessons can also be had on any aspect of riding or caring for a horse for those wanting to learn how to groom, feed, bathe from basic horse care to the most intricate training, we have instructors and staff available to teach you on a one-on-one or group basis, with our horse or yours, proper horse care.
